BarbellBeat (the "App") values your privacy and complies with applicable laws. This policy explains what information the App collects and how it is handled.
The App uses the following data to measure your heart rate recovery during rest between sets:
The collected data is used solely to provide the App's core features: measuring heart rate recovery during rest and displaying your workout records.
All data processed by the App is stored only on your devices (iPhone and Apple Watch) and in your personal iCloud account.
When iCloud Sync is enabled, your workout records are backed up to your personal iCloud storage through Apple's iCloud (CloudKit). This data belongs to your Apple account, and the developer cannot access it. You can turn iCloud Sync off at any time in the App's Info tab.
The App does not transmit any data to third-party servers, including any server operated by the developer, and does not share or sell your data.
The App accesses heart rate data through Apple HealthKit. Data obtained from HealthKit is used only to provide the App's core features and is never used for advertising or marketing purposes. You can change HealthKit access permissions at any time in your device settings.
Deleting the App from your device removes all data stored on the device.
If you used iCloud Sync, records backed up to iCloud can be restored when you reinstall the App. To permanently delete data stored in iCloud, go to iOS Settings > your Apple Account > iCloud > Manage Account Storage and delete the BarbellBeat data.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13, and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
